Agnarr?

Anyone from these parts going to give Agnarr a spin? It's the new TLP dropping on May 24th (or so) that has Ragefire xp, raid instances, and will lock at Ykesha. So the major expansions it will go through are Kunark, Velious, Luclin, and Planes of Power. (Plus LDoN and Ykesha).

I've been through most of the early EQ expansions a few times now across P99, Ragefire, and Phinigel so I think this might be my last hurrah for the game. Unfortunately, every time I come back I tend to last less and less but hopefully can stick around to raid planes finally.

What company are you referring to? Sony or Daybreak?
I'll be there, tired of P99 and i'll likely be dead before this project is released.

The "normal" game is F2P. However, these new servers are $15 a month for the super pass thing. However, it drops if you buy multiple months. 1 year is around $9.50/month.

Yep I played the F2P game for about a month for kicks, then got bored since the whole game was nowhere near what I remember, and there was no one to play with. I would have given the Agnarr server a try if I didn't have to pay, but ah well.

Is Freeport/Commons/Nektulos still warped to hell on Agnarr?

I tried really hard to get into Agnarr but instanced zones were a major turn off. Four zones of Innothule swamp? Nah

Also did not enjoy the updated zones.. especially Highpass. Freeport/Commons/Nektulos along with many others most definitely warped to hell. Looks completely unnatural zoning.

Eh, I think instancing is a good thing overall. It allows for accessible raiding and takes away the ability from a couple select guilds to dominate content.

The updated zones would be a major turnoff though. My first thought coming back to the game was "what the hell did they do to Freeport?!"
