I am at a loss for words... I am sure those who made it into pre-alpha are at a loss. I cannot see it making Brad's vision of quality at this point. But then again not too many bought into the project in the first place for this very reason.

Yes, it looks as though project Faerthale was just a demo to get a publisher. I consider Pantheon to be a loss at this point (I pledged at the lower tier several years ago). Glad I didn't pledge more, I could have. They are nowhere near the end of pre alpha testing, and they are running out of money. It was a long shot. To Lyrina I would say the context is the producers letter 2020...I quote, "Publishers and investors need to see what Pantheon is, how it plays, what it’s all about. Several parties are interested in the concept, and now we need to show them that it’s a reality. We are, and always will be eternally grateful for the kindness and generosity of the community and our early investors in getting us this far, but we’re going to need more resources to get Pantheon done sooner than our modest team can realistically do by themselves in a reasonable timeframe."
I understand how Izadun feels.

If any of you are still reading these forums, Pantheon is confirmed vaporware. The devs did such a catastrophically bad job they don't even have all the classes in the game yet, nor do they have all the races, they did a complete refactor of the code, plus went full Fortnite graphics and on top of all that have decided to do a Fortnite gameplay mode with "247". Hopefully nobody gave money to this project after our warnings. If you want confirmation there is a video on the official Pantheon YouTube channel.

The test, a few days ago, showed me, how soulless this thing is. It's dead product, without any deep meaning. Generic, contentles, and so on... It's not about "beeing in Alpha"... This thing is going on now for about an Decade. There is nothing in it. Brads heritage died with him.

I have an answer for you kaboume, it's called Monsters and Memories. That's the next EQ style thing. And it is extremely serious about being old school EverQuest style so check it out!! Unlike what we see from Pantheon, M&M have gone farther in 3 years time with public stress tests, no donos required. Pantheon has reversed course on the 247 nonsense but the game still looks terrible, plays mediocre, and has almost zero content. ONE ZONE. No dungeons, no raids. So it's M&M all the way cause I just wanna go home.
