Truthfully, I'm not sure how often I'll check this forum anymore. It has nothing to do with the change of direction in the project, or the fact that YL is leaving (Hara has proven himself MORE than capable). It has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that people won't just accept that shit is the way it is, and instead continue to be constantly negative.

Yes, how dare YL defend himself. You must have a short term memory if you feel this way. He has had to defend himself against idiots on many occasions. Tongpow is the first that comes to mind that forced YL to publicly defend himself over and over.

I just noted it was weird that YL felt the need to nuke the entire PM database, and he had another meltdown. I didn't make any claims, nor did I attempt to assassinate his character, if you view the exchange thus far it's pretty evident who is more frazzled.

Its tough. We can't really put ourselves in his shoes. He put so much blood and sweat into this project, I think it makes a lot of sense he would feel a little unnerved given the reaction of many here. I certainly would feel similarly. I cant imagine the hours he put in, and I bet a lot of those hours he was imagining being able to provide a wonderfully enjoyable server for a grateful community. With the relative lack of gratitude in the responses of so many, I imagine it would be a hard pill to swallow.

tldr: if you put a billion hours into something for people and they aren't too nice about it, you'd probably be unnerved too.

I don't really buy the whole "billions of hours AND HE DID IT ALL FOR YOU" line. Nobody does that, not for strangers they've never met. The only way anyone can commit themselves to a project like that is if they truly enjoy it, which it sounded like he did. And that's great.

But at the end of the day all he's really done is pull a major cock-tease (props for that btw) when his apparently fragile ego was shattered by a few trolls. I dunno how that's something to worship after the fact but whatever works for you guys I guess.
